Triceps/elbows..growing or injured?

About 10 days ago I overlifted and sprained my triceps. left elbow had some tendonitis. I now have no pain and close to 100% range of motion i had before. I have been taking lots of whey protein and my muscle mass is really growing. I have been drinking 10 cups of water a day. I have not lifted upper body since the injury. However, my biceps, triceps and forearms are huge, like i just lifted..They feel a little bit numb, barely, and my elbows have some small amount of fluid in back. There is just a barely a hint of discomfort when gripping my elbows. Is this water in my arms?..is my body building muscle mass? Is it safe to work my upper body tomorrow? Why do I feel like mark mcGwire? what is the unusual sensation? Perhaps I am not 100% recovered like i think..?

There could be some damage to your muscles, maybe some fibrilar ruptures.I would say don't work those muscles for at least 1 month.
