I've had swollen glands for literally the past year... why?

***I have the hypermobility syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Could that have caused it? I tried looking it up but found nothing informative.

well...thats hard to say. Um honeslty I dont really know what hypermobility syndrome is...so I couldnt tell you if it was related to that or not..im sure that is a possibility. But I have mono and the reason I found out was due to having swollen glands for a long period of time. If you have tonsils still, than that would have A LOT to do with swollen glands. I mean it could be something as small as...allergies or something as serious as...mono. Only way to be sure and to be safe would be to go get checked out by a doctor. Good luck

it doesnt say why you have the swollen glands as this is not a symtom of the diease.have you had sore throats or do you still have your tonsils i would go to the dr to get a follow-up to this diease to determine why you have swollen glands a year is too long to go without treatment
