I'm a fourteen year old female. 5'8 125lbs. I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) type 3, and mabye 1 and 2.
For the last year or so I have been having a vibration in my chest. Usually it happens right in the center of my chest inbetween both breasts while I'm sitting down. I can only feel it when I take a breath in or out. If I'm holding my breath, I can't feel it at all. Also It seems to happen more often when I get tired. The only way to make it go away is when I breath heavily. Then it's gone for about a minute untill it comes back.
EDS has a tendincy of messing with your heart, but usually it doesn't happen unless you have type four. My doctor reccomended to have an ECG done just to make sure that I don't have type four, but I never had the procedure.
So, my questions is, am I just been paranoid or do you think the is a reson to seek medical attention? An ECG is a very simple test and if it was suggested, I would have it done. Do everything you have to do to stay healthy. Good luck to you. |
