I saw a show on Discovery Health where a woman had really bad lymphedema in one of her legs--she had to get a lot of therapy--mainly lymphatic drainage massage and some physical therapy. She also had to keep her leg wrapped up in ace bandages to keep it from getting so swollen. It really helped her out a lot--maybe you should get some of that lymphatic massage therapy. It looked really bad when she had it--I'm sorry to hear you're plagued with it. Hope you get some relief, and good luck! all you have to do is click on to her name and go to her profile her e-mail address is there my mom has that...you should get checked out for lyme disease... She went 3-4 times a week in the beginning, but as they got the swelling a little under control, she was able to cut her visits down to once a week, and now she just goes when she's having a problem. |
