What is organic edema?

This morning the pediatrician called and said that my daughter has to repeat her newborn screening, because one of the levels was 6.5 and is supposed to be 6.0 or lower. She told me it had something to do with organic edema. What is this all about? Can anyone tell me what kind of screening they do when they do this and what this may be in relation to?
