Re-causes of Pitted Edema in the legs and feet.? |
If all tests have been done to see what is causing the edema ie. Liver, kidneys, heart, etc. and all come back negative, what would be the next step to finding the cause? It's best to speak to your Doctor. cellulitis or poor circulation. Lymphatic obstruction or poor venous return due to varicosities. A few medications will cause it. vasculitis. Peripheral artery disease. Your blood pressure should be the same in both legs as it is in your arms. Have your doctor consider these tests. Your fascia might be losing its elasticity as well as your adipose tissue (fat) and muscle. Perhaps the edema has pooled in different "weak" places on your legs and feet. I would get a professional massage if I were you. It would help reduce your edema considerably. |
