Can an RN or MD please answer this question about plumonary edema? |
Why is the risk of pulmonary edema increased with the use of sodium bicarbonate and sodium polystyreme sulfonate (Kayexalate)? Simple. Both contain sodium. In the body, water tends to 'follow' sodium. So if you increase your sodium intake, then water will be retained. how can you trust that the person that answers your question is a true licensed professional? my thoughts are to call your regular doctor and ask them. |

If it helps you feel better my father has 17% ejection, can walk around in the house to go to restroom and... could be. I would go to doc and check your heart, liver and kidney functions. Make sure you tell the doc EVERYTHING. Don't wait. Could be circulatory too. ...red skin after edema could mean infection/cellulitis. I would recommend you to see a doctor if the redness persists or worsens, good luck ...Dont self diagnose!!! The only thing that that will accomplish is scaring yourself!!! Go to a free clinic by your house and have it diagnosed there.... hopefully they can give you some tips on how ... |
