Eczema - seeking answers?

Eczema on my legs has occured again, itchy & painful as ever.Can corn starch be used as a remedy for eczema? If yes, how? The dermatologist here mentioned it was a rash due to contact with poison ivy but went to another doc & he mentioned it was a severe case of eczema. The prescription cream & antibiotics relieved the pain & itchiness but it's back again - after I've finished the prescibed medication course. Are there any natural remedial measures to treat eczema?? Please help.

Try an herbal anti-eczema cream and spray from champori.com It is steroid- and allergen-free and works better (and faster) for my eczema. (it comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn't work - it's free)
Best,
Bernadette

Have you tried anything from Arbonne for your eczema!! Please let me know if you have any questions? I would love to help you!!

i have eczema. Heres what I do. I take an alleriage med in the moring like claritden d, also only take warm showers/baths not hot since this can dry the skin more, then get a cream for server dry skin, hop out of the shower, dont towel off slather the med. on then slather some vaseline on, let it be. Once its dry you can either just get dressed or get a face cloth wet and wip it off. Then do the same thing agian at night. Take a benadrl at night. This is hard, yes but only do that for 14 days. Then just stay on top of your skin. Make sure its not dry, as soon as you see that its getting dry slather on some creams to make sure you put mosture back in. Also get a humidafier, your home may be too dry.

heredity and genetics play a vital role in passing eczema from one generation to another. it may appear at some point in your lives especially when the immune system is low. it can also be triggered by skin irritants and allergens.

to avoid eczema flare ups there are lot of things to consider like:

* keeping fingernails trimmed
* using an all natural moisturizer throughout the day will be helpful in keeping skin moist
* hydrating the skin by drinking loads of water
* avoiding foods that are processed and that have preservatives
* use natural fabrics that are soft
* avoid tight, rough and scratchy clothes
* do not sweat it, avoid activities that makes you sweat
* avoid temperatures that are extremely hot and cold
* avoid drastic change of weather
* try not to scratch the infected area
* watch and check out diet
* avoid long baths
* get rid of skin irritants like dust and pollens
* keep your environment clean
