Help me with my Eczema and chaped lips? |
I was diagnosed with Eczema when I was only two weeks old. I thought that I would already out grow it by this time. How long is it going to be for me to outgrow Eczema. I can't wear short-sleeves shirts because my Eczema is way too... bad. It is all red and dry. The back of my neck is really bad too, also my ears. My lips get chaped all the time. I try to take care of it, but it is really hard. Is it true that if you take a shower each day, that it will help my Eczema? I thought that it would only dry it out. I use chapstick, and always keep it with me. I use three differnet kinds of lotion. Can you help me with my Eczema? Eczema is usually associated with extremely dry skin. It often forms large infected patches on the fronts of elbows and the backs of knees. These patches can get extremely itchy, which if scratched could make the infected area worse. It seems to run in families In certain cases it can be the result of an allergic reaction occurring on the skin. The cause is not known but aggravating factors include hands that are in frequent contact with soap and water, harsh household products and vegetable juices, such as potato and onion juices. If a physician does not specify a particular regimen, Arbonne has product recommendations that might help alleviate some of the discomfort. i have never seen in my eczema a difference from showering everyday...i used to have this stuff that i got from my doctor that seemed to be working...until i lost it...lol...i would ask your doctor because there are some antibiotics u can take 4 it and what u have sounds awful...also something that i do is... wen i take a shower..before drying off.. put baby oil over the effected areas (a small amount) then pat dry..it keeps the moister ur body makes naturally and water on your skin longer. also 4 ur lips try using 100% vitamin E it makes skin softer thats what i use for my lips, but i have heard that cocoa butter works good too..or Burt's Bees lip balm.....but mostly u should ask your doctor..... |
