Has anyone??? (eczema people)? |
Has anyone gotten rid of their eczema? If so, how? I have eczema behind my ear and when I put my treatment cream on it goes away. But if I miss like one day of putting it on, it goes back to the worse possible. I was wondering if anyone has gotten their eczema away completely. Like it has never come back. Without using the treatment cream everyday. Like now you don't need anything. Thanks, Tiffany. I have had eczema for 17 years..THAT'S ALL MY LIFE!!! I know it leaves physical and mental scars for years, and although eczema is not a curable condition, if you take care of it you won't have any problems. Two years ago I had the worst breakout of my life. I was covered with it, finally i could no longer hide this problem. My mom took my to the doctor and she prescribed my with antibiotics, pills that would stop me from scratching at night, and various creams. I followed the routine, and two years later I haven't had an outbreak since. Now, I only use a little bit of lotion everyday, I haven't even pulled out and of my creams. My point is, if you follow your routine to see the results, eventually you won't be as dependent on them. I had the exact same problem. I have tried dozens of cream, and when i see that my condition improves, i stop the treatment. Luckily, my doctor found out that i scratch at night and she was able to prescribe me with the pills that stopped my from scratching at night. Maybe this is your problem. nope...it comes back..you use the meds every day or else it comes back...there is NO cure. I had Nummular Eczema for a long time and eventually it went away because I took hormone pills (I also have PCOS). I have had it from birth on!! Eczema is caused by your skin getting dry and then sweaty over and over again. When your skin feels that change it creates water pockets under the skin to keep it from getting so dry. So, this being something your skin naturally does , for whatever reason, there is no way to "cure" it. The only thing I've found that really worked and i didn't have to use it everyday was Elidel. And of course other general maintenance like putting lotion on the area when you know it's going to be dry, like after you get out of the shower. |
