Eczema questions...Should I tan? What to do? |
Ok well like some pple..I have really bad Eczema...Well for my skin there's like a coloration in the skin..it's like lighter than how my skin is..should I just try to tan to even the coloration out? Is there a cure for Eczema? If not what should I do to prevent it from becoming worse than it is? I've tried going to Doctors but the treatments havn't wrked and most of them said that it will go away by itself. my son has eczema and because he is half mexican with a dark complexsion he tends to have lighter spots over his face and arms,he's always out side and getting a tan doesn't help it still is different colors,we use Eucerin lotion on him and it works better than anything he's been prescibed also you might want to use hydrocortison when the breakout gets really bad. Good Luck hope this helps use a belt sander I don't think that tanning is a good idea because it will make your Eczema dryer. You need to make sure that you keep the affected areas moisturized with a good lotion. I use "The Nurses' Aide" cream. You can get it on ebay or from www.escentialneeds.com. It contains shea butter and essential oils. I have severe eczema as well and sadly theres no cure, we just have to try to maintain our skin the best we can. What I think you have is under-pigmentation, it just takes time for it to go away maybe months but you've got to take care of your skin. I wouldn't tan you might irritate your skin more. hi..i too have faced the same problem and it resurfaces every winter season.m not sure if tanning would help but doctors are right when they tell you the colour will merge with the skin colour in some time.. medication i feel is the only way... patience... i know.. even i hate to wait but cant help it! I have eczema and the best my skin has ever felt was after a summer of lots of sun-tanning and using a moisturising sun lotion. Sunshine is good for your skin (as long as you are sensible about limiting your exposure). i have eczema to you should use real cocoa butter or shea butter to even out you skin tone. Unfortunately, there's no cure for eczema. And depending on your skin coloring, trying to tan may make the affected areas darker than the rest of you, especially if you are currently using a steroid cream to control it, because steroid creams make you particularly susceptible to sunlight. Tanning causes skin cancer. Try seeing a dermatologist. Many GPs just order something but the dermatologist will take a scraping to see what the problem is and then treat it. I think you will happy with the results. Good luck. MANGOSTEEN.......contact me by email thru here and I'll lead you to information.
