Eczema and itching?

I have Eczema and my hands are bad, almost always having a rash on them. I had a birthday party and was stress out for a while, well I notice that I have rashes on other parts on my body and I'm itching all over. Is eczema affected by stress too? Is there anyting I can take or do to lessen the itching please?

Oh both me and my best friend have Eczema really bad, we get on out hands and arms and legs, like everywhere, we use Hydrocortisone 1% cream, and can i tell since I have been using it you cant even tell that I have it anymore, and do not use scented lotion on it, couse it makes it worse, and sting.

You may be experiencing an allergic reaction to the detergent of your clothes...try a non-scented variety (i.e. Arm & Hammer). In addition, you can reduce the need to itch by using 1% cortisone cream which you can get from any local drug store or supermarket.

Eczema is definitely affected by stress. TAke a cool bath with Aveeno in it. Hemp lotion does make it feel better but it's kind of expensive.

I have eczema and itching all over my leg so I know how you feel. Mine gotta to the point that I have it on my back, arms, and leg. If you don't fix it soon, you will be itching with rash like me. I should have gone to a dermalogist when it initially started, but it gotta worse. I went to the dermalogist and he gave me a steriod type of lotion and it worked very well, but not to the point that it made my rashes totally disappeared.
It only healed partially because it has been so long that I didn't get treatment.

My suggestion to you is to seek a dermatologist. I got
a prescription Mometasone Furoate Ointment 0.1% and it worked great! Try that!

i have eczema, and yes stress can cause it to worsten, i use the line of cetaphil skin care products, it moisturizes, and cleans...really good...

I have the same condition that you do, on my hands, and I had to finally go to a dermatologist, in which she gave me this excellent cream to stop the itching, but the only problem with the cream is that it thins your skin. If the weather is hot, my hands will break out, and itch to where I want to itch all the skin off, and they get very sore if I keep scratching. The cream puts an end to all of the itching, and my hands heal up. Really, go to your dermatologist, and they will prescribe a cream for you so you do not itch.Good Luck.I do not really think stress has a lot to do with the itching, just that the itching condition comes and goes all on it's own.

The cause of eczema is not known but aggravating factors include hands that are in constant contact with soap and water, harsh household products and some vegetable juices. If a physician does not specify a particular regimen, Arbonne has some recommendations that might alleviate the discomfort and itching. Although it sounds silly, the ABC (Arbonne Baby Care) line is perfect as it is the most sensitive, pure, safe, and beneficial to your skin. You can also try the Intelligence Cleansing gel, Skin Conditioning Oil, Hand Cream, and Body Lotion. People with skin conditions have tried these products and experienced amazing results. The products are formulated withOUT chemicals, dyes, fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol, wax, acetone, etc. These ingredients have been known to cause irritation and dryness for those with skin conditions. They are botanically-based and pH correct, pediatrician and dermatologist tested, non-sensitizing, and non-irritating. They are formulated with pure, natural, botanical ingredients. I would be happy to help you learn more if you're interested. Good luck.
