Eczema around eyes.. please help!?

My dermatologist gave me some free samples of "CeraVe hydrating cleanser" and "CeraVe moisturizing cream" to wash with and then use afterwards, but it's not helping. The cream actually burns a little bit, I wonder is that a bad thing?

She had prescribed me Verdeso foam to use on my eczema on my arms, so I've been using that around my eyes to see if it helps, but it doesn't seem to be helping either.

I can't get in to see her for another couple months. The skin is really really dry and flaking and crackling and itchy and red. Is "Elidel" over-the-counter? Any other ideas that may help?? I've heard:

-colloidal oatmeal lotion
-pure vitamin E oil 35,000 I. U.
and
-Johnson's & Johnson's baby soap for eczema

Any ideas on these things? Any other ideas? Please help! It's ugly, painful and annoying!

I have sebborheic dermatitis and even though I can find nothing about it my doctor knew that it was caused by spices, beer, wine, caffeine and chocolate. Mine has started on my eyes now and it is torture! But if I avoid all those things...it goes completely away.
To help in the meantime: make some chamomile tea, let it cool and then gently wash your eyes with it. That is the only thing I was able to tolerate when mine flames up. Then I had to find an all natural creme without perfume to soothe and moisturize. I use Joli Creme from HolisticBodyTherapy.Net.
I don't know why I can't find anything about this, but try it for a week and see if you improve. Good luck!
