Eczema nubular thermatitis?

My daughter has turned 6 yrs. old and for about a year she's had eczema nubular thermatitis that's how the poor Dr. called it. I've used esteroids ointments, anti fungul ointments and well nothing has change. I dn't bathed her I shower her I cleanse her face with Dove no fragance soap. I mosturised her face with Lubriderm lotion. And that's how I've relief her from itching and alterating her eczema but it just doesn't go away. What can I do besides to get rid of it? the only are where she has it is on her left chic and the size of a quater and shape too.

I'm sorry to say but you can never get rid of eczema....
I've had it on and off all my life since I was born...I'm now 26!

Trust me I reckon I've tried all lotions and potions doctors, and other professional people have reccomended...

Don't use to much steriod based creams for her as it actually can do her more harm than good later down the track...again take it from one who knows! I've got too much cortosine (or however you spell it) in my liver and as a result I find it hard to loose weight...I know liver and weight don't normally go hand in hand but heh I'm no doc...

Maybe just try aloe vera gel/cream or vitamin E.....NON PERFUMED cream is a must...

I also take Evening Primrose Oil and Flaxseed Oil tablets and they help control it, but like I said she's stuck with it for life....probably be one of the lucky ones though, and not get it so severe in later life..

Hope this has been of some help...any more questions, don't hesitate to ask me!!

:):):)
