My dermatologist gave me desonide lotion for eczema and I would like to hear from someone who has used desonide lotion for eczema. Also does anyone know some other stuff to help eczema. Even some little things that will help it. Mostly I'd like to hear from people who have had eczema or used desonide lotion. Yes,I have eczema also had it for three years on my face and my doctor has given me desonide lotion also and it works for me.. and I have a really bad case of eczema but what I do is wash my face every night with aveeno soap then air dry my face put the desonide on my face then a moisture lotion cream called Eucerin..it's a lot of work but it helps so much, all the redness is gone and my skin is not dry or itchy anymore and for the first time in years I can take a picture and not look like a candy apple. There is no cure for eczema. YOu can only try to control it. Desonide is a steroid cream to try to get it under control. The only way to know if it will work for you is to try it. All meds work differently on different people so you will get people on here who tell you it did work and just as many that say it didn't work. One of the best things out there to try besides the script meds is a lotion called Renew. It is made by Melaleuca. My Dr recommended tanning beds and it actually worked. Just start slow. The UVA and UVB help dry it . Stops the itching made it go away |
