Can Ecstasy Cause....?

long term memory loss? i'm 17. Senior. ive used ecstasy when i was a sophomore frequently but i havent been using my senior year, well barely, i popped about 7times this year and that isnt quite that many. Im wondering this because i got into my old xanga and i was reading through my oldass blogs and i barely remembr ANY of it and being friends with some of the people i talk about. Hahah. but yeah ive popped at least over 40 pills in my life. I heard ecstasy makes you lose memory? I also feel stupider! and not as perky as i was when i was young. Is it just me getting older& more mature or is it ecstasy?

Absolutely. I'm 27 and over did it with the E as a youngster. I was up to 9 a day for about a year! No bull! E depleates your seratonin in your brain like crazy-and quickly too. I saw a study tested on monkey brains and it was scary to see the difference in levels of seratonin in the brain.
It definitely causes memory loss to a great extent, and the scariest part is that scientists are still not sure what the long term effects are as we'll age. I just know that it's hard for me to even remember last week, and I was never like that until I went over board with the E. It also caused me to have really off the wall mood swings-which now I am diagnosed as bi-polar. I truly believe that is all due to the E. Don't take anymore. We don't even know what it's going to do to us in the long run, considering what it's already done so far.

Can you start and stop when you feel like it?
The pictures of wasted people I see in the magazines doesn't seem to matter to them.
You're writing this for a reason.
What are you hoping to hear?
Do you need to hear"yes" and you would stop, or would a "no" give you the excuse to keep using?
You may not feel like it but somebody out there is hoping you will get your life on track, maybe a younger sibling, parents, relatives, even your pet knows when your are screwed up.
So stop doing drugs, take a day, then 3,7, a month, and it will be another year older and things won't be the same.
Try it, you are worth it if only to yourself

Well, it's not healthy for you not matter what. It wouldn't surprise me if it did cause memory loss.

Also, what are your sleep patterns like? Do you eat healthy, get enough exercise, etc? All of these things can case to feel tired, disoriented, sluggish, etc. Combine those with drug use and you really won't feel well at all.

You owe it to yourself to lead a healthy, happy and safe lifestyle.

the truth is it does. there are a lot of studies you can read online if you are interested in details. i had experimented too in high school, and whats bad about that is during high school years our brains are still taking in so much.
