My friend took 2 ecstasy pills and is still enduring its affects over two days later.?

I have a friend who took two pills of ecstasy about two days ago to help her do well in gym class. Since, she has not slept or ate. I've never taken X so I have no experience with the drug but she said for awhile she could barely walk and her heart was beating incredibly slowly and she was having trouble breathing for many hours. She says she feels a bad pain where she believes her heart is. I'm not sure if this is normal or not and she's afraid to tell her parents or a doctor. I don't know if this is normal or not, so I'm not sure if it's necessary for her to get medical attention but I don't want to tell her to ignore it either, in case she really gets hurt. Is this normal? Does she need to go to the hospital? She says she is still feeling it a bit and her legs are going crazy.

Your friend is a boob. To do well in gym class, wtf? It is normal to still be screwed up a few day after taking x, but she should use this as a lesson never to do it again.

She needs to go to the hospital.

Of course this is not normal! That is because ecstacy is an ILLEGAL drug, so nothing that it does to you is healthy or normal! If you were a true friend, you would tell your friend to tell her parents and go to a doctor, and if she refuses then you would tell a trusted adult which she has done. If you don't, then you are just as much to blame for what happens to her as she is!

Ecstasy increases your heart palpitations, most people who take the drug feel depressed and have aches and pains after it for a while its called a "come down" it will affect her for a while just need to drink plenty of water....if she feels like shes really ill then she should see a doctor she wont have to worry about him telling her parents because he wont unless shes really in danger which i am sure she wont be. Ecstasy is a really powerful party drug that usually once taken its addictive. She needs to get help immediately because usually the first time taken it can be fatal.

Taking one X pill is dumb 2 is even dumber...and taking any X pills is just asking for problems.
You never know what X is made of now adays. Heroin based, coke based, meth based...who knows.
I suggest your friend go to the ER. She doesn't have to say she took anything if she is scared of that...but she should say she is having chest pain so they can do an EKG. She may be suffering from dehydration since X makes you sweat more than normal.
Plenty of youngsters have had fatal effects due to X.
There is no other thing to do except visit the ER. Although the X takes days to leave your body..the effects to your nervous system can remain for years or a lifetime. I say to go ahead and admit to the ER that she took X(after she is in the back room and alone with the doc). No legal issue can ensue because she is not in possession. Believe me..your friend will not be the first to show up with after effects of X.
Take her to the ER. Trouble breathing is a very seious issue. Her nervous system and heart are obviously being effected.
Getting an *** chewing from her parents is the least of her problems. *** chewings only last a short while.....her heart keeps her alive.

At first I was concerned when hearing your young friend was taking Ecstasy. But then you filled me in that it was for gym class and boy was I relieved. It's pretty well established that psychotropic drugs are the best for decreasing your mile time (Mens Fitness March 2001 issue). I mean, what kind of idiot would take energy supplements to get more energy? Morons!

I also agree that telling your parents or a doctor will lead to more dire consequences than, say, total heart failure or a stroke. Patient-Doctor confidentiality my ***! Waiting it out is definitely the best solution for "Ole' Crazy Legs." Her heart is probably just telling her "I love it when you overstimulate me with drugs and then submit me to rigorous exercise. GIVE ME MORE!"

Taking her to the doctor/hospital would be the best choice...however she could be coming down from the X and sometimes Ive heard it takes a couple days..so it could go away..either way it goes the safest way to go is to the hospital.

As you say this happened 2 days ago, most probably it is not an emergency condition.

Generally a group of medicines called as Benzodiazepines,work well to get rid of these symptoms(they are wrongly called as sleeping pills.).
Alprazolam, Lorazepam, Clonazepam etc are their names. Some Trusted doctor can prescribe these medicines to her.

Most probably your friend will be alright soon.

Of course Suggesting her a remedy for quick relief, is like encouraging her habit of seeking shortcuts....

Why she consumed the Ecstasy pills is because she wants shortcuts to Happiness.

Now-a-days young people dont know the value of Hard work, Good behaviour and they have become Selfish in everything they do.

They dont know what is HAPPINESS.

I assume your friend is young, probably a student. The parents are working hard and these students spend the money in this way.

That too at the cost of her health...

Let her suffer the unpleasant effects of her Mistakes too.

of course, If she is deteriorating in her health, do seek medical help from a doctor of Internal Medicine or better than that, a Psychiatrist.

do they actually prescribe xanax to people coming off X? that sounds a little ridiculous to give such an addictive drug to someone coming off that stuff...

you're a good friend to ask around for her. she really needs to seek medical attention about her heart. she's too young to die over something like this that could be so easily prevented. she should tell her parents and they can help her seek help.

to all of you calling her stupid-- she's young. she's learning who she is and this experience i'm sure is a wake up call for her. she surely will never do anything like that again. if she thinks she wants to, she should seek counseling to find out what she is trying to escape from.

go to walmart and buy some charcoal powder or capsules if she did od it should take it out that's all the hospital would do but if she continues to have the pain i would seek medical attention i'm not a doctor so don't take this as medical advice

Your friend should be fine.
What she is experienceing is not caused from the ecstasy.
Ecstasy effects the brain mostly and your friend would not be feeling a bad pain where she thinks her heart is.
The other thing is ecstasy is increases peoples hearts rates due to the faux seretonin being put n in the brain and thus, giving your friend a sensational feeling of selgf acceptence and empthay.
Yes ecstasy can have effects up to 4 daus after being taken, but in most cases does not.
You should ask your friend if she took anything else with it.
I would guess she did because her legs are going crazy and ecstasy does not have that effect.
I would actaully say she is stressed out, but I don't know.
The only thing she needs to worry about is going to into seizures, if she doesn't she is good, but if she does, then call an ambulance!

she will be fine, the reason why she probly hasnt eatn or slept is because now days, ecstacy isnt pure you get it in pills that are mixxed with ushally high amounts of caffine, or speed, witch is making her have those effects, she willbe okay in a few days.
p.s if she didnt die while she was on it or within 24 hours she most likly wont, if your research "Thizzles or Thizz or exstacy " you will find everything they mix it with these days... which is what is keeping her up! good luck!

also the e pill didnt make her heart hurt or whatever.

your friend is going thru the "downing" effect when your getting off the pill. her heart hurts because its exhausted from when it was beating really fast. not eating and sleeping is also a normal effect of pills going around nowadays. she should be fine the next couple of days just remember to drink lots of fluid cuz u dont want to become dehydrated
