Ecstasy after effects?

usually take ecstasy every 4 or 5 months or so but during september i did it 3 times in one month after the third time about 5 days later i started to get severe anxiety and depression its now been 6 weeks since then and although i feel somewhat better i dont feel 100% ive stared to lose hair all over my body and have a bald patch on my head because of all the stress never showed signs of it before this i just wanted to know if anybody else has experienced this and how long will it last?

I would echo what others have said about talking to your doctor - they've heard worse and cannot tell others, so be honest.

The danger with any mind altering substance is that it has an impact on the way the body works. Ecstasy links directly to your brain, increasing the 'feel good' chemicals in the brain. This can mean that the brain stops making them as it adjusts to new levels (the 'come down' after a weekend on E). Whilst I haven't seen any formal studies on this, I suspect that there will come a time when many, many people will be looking for treatment due to use of ecstasy - it's a worry, but is very, very treatable.

Losing your hair may well be linked to stress / anxiety, rather than directly to drug use. Treat the anxiety and the hair loss may stop.

go see a doctor and stop being an idiot. Tell them what happened and hopefully they can help. good luck and maybe try stopin before you kill yourself.

My son in law has had exactly the same symptoms as you. He ended up on anti depressants for the mood swings and depression/anxiety. His hair fell out in patches (alopecia) first time it was at the back of his head and it grew back. Now - some 2 or 3 years later his hair still comes out in patches - currently he's got a big patch missing fro the front. No-one will actually say its the E's that causes this but it seems a strange coincidence doesn't it??

this has never happend to me or my partner just feeling a little deppressed but soon passes.

I have experimented and never had any of those effects but the best thing for you to do would be to go talk to your doctor and be completely honest with him. Tell him the truth and have him help you. This could be serious! I would rush yourself into the doctor before it closes for the holiday. This is important. And, if your doctor's office is closed I would either go to the emergency room or an insta care. This is NOT normal.

i dont think side effects from ecstacy would go on that long,you might feel rough for a week after taking it.

Everything in moderation man. I don't think it will be permanent, but you have convince yourself also that this is temporary or it will be permanent if you have pessimistic thoughts. Just lay off the drug for a long while, or just stay off it forever. You have to be careful with drugs, and respect them, take them once in a while. O well, i personally believe you will get better. Doctors love prescribing drugs to patients, try taking the minimum dose required. But, i'd recommend to you to seek therapy as the most important thing to do.

some people can take any thing any time . Some people take something at one time and its bad news--- Maybe you are the latter. ? Knock it on the head now drugs are not for you.

thats has never happened to my b/f he used to take them most weekends while we was all out in night clubs but he usually got very low and a bit depressed and a bit angry too (the ding lol) he doesnt take them anymore!! maybe you should go to the doctors and stop taking E's YA NO u cud take a few in 1 night and then the last one could contain something the others didnt and that last one could kill you id stop taking E's if i was you mate

if you are stupid enough to do ecstasy, then you got what you deserve... no pity here for you....

and when you drop off the earth, that is just one less loser in the world...
