Mom has an addiction to ecstasy. How do I step in this problem? I live near Estancia, New Mexico. I'd like to know which public, voluntary or professional group can help me make a difference.

You can look up substance addiction rehabilitation centers in your city or town. Look up the resource sites focused on your town and state. Look into free aid on how to start the process.

Tough call. The only way you can MAKE her quit is to turn her in to the cops. And that will seriously screw up both of your lives.

First thing you need to realize is that YOU have been brainwashed. The government (police state) uses drugs as an excuse to fund a huge police/prison industry. Drug lords and legislators work with cops to keep the price of drugs up, and the control over Americans high. If you turn mom in, you just feed her to the nazis.

Now some drugs are more dangerous than others. But E is considered by medical authorities as less dangerous than alcohol or tobacco. (See citation). So if you're concerned about your mom's health, do some more research and you'll probably be LESS concerned.

In any case, I recommend you sit down and discuss the matter with your mother. Listen to what she has to say with an open mind. Research on the internet.

Then make your own decision. Maybe that decision will be to do nothing. After all, you don't say WHY it's a problem. Is it because your mother is working as a $20 whore to support her "habit"? Or is it only a problem because the government schools and the government TV ads tell you it's a problem?

By the way, if you think I'm in favor of drugs - I'm not. I don't use any illegal drugs of any kind. But I know that the damage the cops, the courts and the police state would do to you and your family would be much greater than any damage that's likely to result from moderate use of MDMA. Once cops get involved, be ready for years of a really f*cked up life.

Speak to her dealers and ask them to stop selling it to her. A couple of my friends did this and i found it hard enough to find more that by the end of it i was feeling out of ecstasy's grip.
