if you try ecstasy once would u become stupider as in causes brain damage. Destroys brain cells or anything?

Maybe not more stupid, but more depressed. Ecstasy kills serotonin neurons specifically. This is associated with depression, anxiety, OCD and eating disorders to name a few. Even one dose is high enough to kill serotonin neurons.

I have never done Ecstasy.....I read an interesting report in the NY times about people getting spinal damage from just one trip. I need my spine, I use it everyday...so, I just say no to that and all other illegal drugs. Peace be with you.

You should read up on this on erowid.com. They will scare you to death. Your brain is run by chemicals called neurotransmitters. They are finely tuned to function just so. Psychotropic drugs mess with that fine balance. In addition to making you stupid, they can also cause depression, psychosis and a bunch of other problems including legal and moral problems. If u research it yes it does cause brain damage, but it's also know to make holes in the brain. Let me tell u ne drug given by doctor or bought from the streets makes u go stupid. It depends on the person using it. If u do it all the time it just might if u do it just because u r curious and want to try it then no it wont do that much damage. Just b careful where and who u get it from. Watching TV destroys brain cells so does it matter? Also 4 people who don't know X was use as a form of a antidepressant, however the main damage was memory lost and the doctors stopped giving that 4 treatment. U can repear a lot of the damage from ecstazy on the next day by taking many vitamins and drinking milk!
