What do the different colors in ecstasy tablets mean?

ecstasy comes in different colors like red blue orange yellow etc. how are they different? how is a yellow pill different from a blue or purple?

Im not going to say drugs are bad so dont do them, because that is not what you asked.
The answer to your question is that it means nothing.
The people who make these usually put random colors and random designs on them. However, sometimes users will prefer a certain color and design from a specific area because it probably comes from the same person....and it might be a really good pill. Every location has different stuff in their pills (you might want to invest in a pill testing kit, you can buy them online..just to be safe and know what you are taking). So really, the way the pill looks, does not tell what is in it. For example, I used to use e alot....I had blue butterflies in kansas city and they were amazing...so out of stupidity, when i went to phoenix...someone had blue butterflies and I thought they would be amzing like the ones i had in KC. Not at all...they were proabably the worst pills I had ever taken.
So, no...colors dont mean a thing.

Who really knows what people put in those things. I would not take that kind of chance! Just don't do drugs....it may be pretty but that's how they get you hooked and they can do so much damaged to your body!

I will try my best on this one without giving you the "drugs are bad don't do drugs" line. I used it for about 5 years before giving it up so here goes...Really the colors do not mean anything, it is just a sales gimmick...red pills are not "speedy", the brown specs are not heroin, blue pills are not "mellow rolls", or whatever you may have heard. You can be getting anything from meth and caffeine to some random research chemical they happened to be able to make or find, it is never pure. That is what really sucks about it and makes it so dangerous is that you never know what you are taking.

different colors mean different effect. some pills are based on meth, others on herione, and others on shrooms. they can be based on just about every drug except weed.
