Can anyone tell why some of the deadliest infectious diseases originate in africa?

ex: aids virus, ebola virus & several others ?

yes but most of these diseases seemed to have appeared only in the past 50 years or so.in the case of aids ,it is said by experts,it originated in monkeys which africans ate & contracted the virus, but this has me perplexed, since africans have been eating monkey flesh for hundreds if not thousands of years but yet the virus only shows up on the radar approximately 40 to 50 years ago.

Bacteria need two things to prosper: food and warmth. Africa has some of the highest temperatures in the world, and is mainly rural, meaning waste disposal isn't very up to date. This creates a perfect environment for diseases and viruses to develop. They have lots of food and it's very warm.

I think Africa is a very rural and underdeveloped country in some parts, with a lot of poverty and already bad health problems from lack of nutrition, bad water, the heat, etc. and they just kind of culminate and fester with all the problems there.

Because Africa is on Earth. Those infections have to originate somewhere!

Humans have been encroaching on "untamed" Africa at a furious rate. People with out modern health care are carying the new or mutated diseases from the jungle to the civilized world - fast as an airplane.

africa is a developing country which lacks food, nutrition etc. and also education in many of these areas and dont have the access to medical helpetc.=]

I gathered it was from the proximity to the wildlife, like the monkeys & chimps, there, whose genes are close to ours; therefore, humans catch their illnesses more easily.

There was at least one deadly virus that came from rats in US Indian reservations or deserts, so it's not isolated to Africa, btw.

Partly because humans originated in Africa, as did many of humans' closest relatives. Even today, Africa has the richest human genetic diversity, as well as of many close relatives of humans, and biological diversity full stop.

Infectious diseases evolve in parallel with their hosts. Africa has a rich diversity of potential hosts.

Because it is a third world country. They do not have the means to treat and find cures.

As disease is past on from person to person it because to mutate into different strands, also making it harder to find a cure.
