Eating disorders`?

is it an eating disorder if you have taken laxatives or if you eat HUGE amounts of fiber to go to the bathroom more to lose weight? just wondering

It's a form of bulimic so I've been told, If you do this, heads up, laxatives could make your body dependent on them which will cause a lot of complications when you want to eat right and lose weight naturally

Yes, that is definitely an eating disorder.

heck yeah.....your not FAT

Yes (and those are not very effective methods, btw)

yes

you don't lose fatty tisue by crapping -_-
do not do it
please

I haven't heard of any name for that sort of thing, but to me, going to such desperate measures to change the way you look is definitely a problem, even if it hasn't been scientifically identified as an "eating disorder." There are much safer and much more effective ways to lose weight.

YES

Yes, it's an eating disorder. Also, eating laxatives or fiber will only pass the food you eat, not take any fat cells from the body with it. What's happening is that you're pouring water down a hose. It goes in one end and out the other, but doesn't take any of the hose with it. I would suggest therapy for this. Obesity is a health risk and not to be taken lightly, but any competant doctor can help with weight problems.

YES. This is a rarely-heard-of form of bulimia nervosa. Strange huh? Hearing bulimia usually makes people think of people purposely vomiting. But yah, any way of purging your body of food is bulimia.
