Eating disorders...?

for those of u who eat little everyday to maintain ur weight or to lose more weight, can u tell me how ur coping with it and ur experience?

The BEST thing that you can do is NOT starve yourself!! You will actually put on MORE weight then you would think! Eat many SMALL meals a day and drink LOTS of water!

I was 165 lbs after I had my second child! I felt like a COW! (I'm only 5'3" so 165 is REALLY overweight!) I asked my doc the BEST way to lose the baby weight. I cant exercise b/c I have Fibromyalgia and it would do me more harm then good and I couldnt POSSIBLY stop eating! I like food WAY TOO MUCH! LOL

So... I started eating small portions throughout the day! You MUST start first thing in the morning. If you dont eat something for breakfast then your body will NOT start the metabolism that it needs. Eating a small breakfast (even if its just a pop tart) will "kick start" your metabolism for the day and you will burn off more calories then if you were to skip your morning food! So... eat a small bit for breakfast. Eat again (something small like a sandwich) around 12ish for lunch. Have a SMALL snack around 3. Eat a decent sized dinner around 6. Have another snack around 9! Thats IT!

By eating at least a LITTLE every 2-3 hours you will keep your metabolism "working" and will be able to burn off any calories that you put into your body! If you DONT eat every 2-3 hours, your metabolism will slow down making it HARDER to burn off those unwanted calories!!

Also drink PLENTY of water! I drink about 64 ounces of water a day! (About 4-5 16 oz bottles of water). This will help "flush out" everything in your body. The more you drink (and pee) the LESS likely it is that the "fat" will bind to your body and you will be able to rid yourself of the calories you have eaten that day!

One more thing... STAY AWAY FROM CARBONATED DRINKS!! By not drinking carbonated beverages (like Coke, Mtn Dew, etc) I was able to drop TONS of weight, just by doing that ALONE!! Its AMAZING how much weight those tasty drinks will put on!! LOL

By following all the things I told you above, I was able to go from 165lbs down to 120lbs in about 4 months!!! I feel SOOOO much better now (and look better). AND because of my "success," for my bday last month my hubby let me go on a shopping spree!! LOL Hell, I was in a size 12-14 before I lost the weight and all my clothes were literally FALLING OFF of me! I am now in a size 6! Yeah for me! :) LOL

Good luck and remember that you dont have to STARVE yourself... just eat a little at a time all day, drink water, and stay away from carbonated drinks! You will be the size you want to be in NO TIME and be able to maintain it too without ANY problems!!

Take care... I hope I was able to help!!

so i'm assuming you want stories from people who have eating disorders.... i've had an eating disorder for 2 years. My experience is that i'm a model and a ballet dancer with a mother that is very "supportive" to the point where she told me to be anorexic. honestly there is no way to cope with it, it is just a part of my life...
