Ear Infections...?

I suffer from outer ear infections quite frequently. Seems that on occasion I don't dry my ears properly after the shower and then a few days later I get a dull pain. I've got Sofradex from the docs which is pretty good but it's recently run out and yep, I've got that dull pain this morning. Is there anything similar that's available without prescription which will do the same thing?

Not afraid to do to the docs - a repeat prescription takes 3 working days.....

yes, there is this eye wash (i think by bausch & lomb)stuff that works for ear infections. Unfortunately i cant remember the name of it cause i haven't had one for awhile, but if you go to any pharmacy and ask the pharmacist they can tell you

Try taking paracetamol it will help you iam antiabotic at the moment for my pain but its not working

Its probable a fungal infection, similar to athletes foot. Why are you afraid to go to the dr. just phone up and get a repeat prescription.

Try ear candles you get them in any good health food store. I laughed when my husband brought them home, but he insisted I try one. I did. In short they are put in your ear, lit on fire and then pulled out and thrown in a cup of water. You can unroll them to see what comes out to the eat, wax, and some seriously nasty stuff.
Get them at a good quality health food store. They can come prepackaged or in jars that you take what you need. Just remember the directions and follow them. I did both ears the first night and repeated it the second night. Felt great by third day. Hope this helped. Also, have someone help youl

Get the medication filled. Until then use ear plugs

I would go into a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist, there are products available over the counter;
