My ear infection has been here for 1 year.does urine cure ear infections?

i have had the same ear infection for 1 year and no meds that the dr put me on has helped.does urine get rid of ear infections?

I've never heard of that method.. i would see a different DR. You can go deaf from not properly treating an ear infection!! go see another doc!

did someone say if they pissed on your face your infection will clear up????thats really messed up.my advice to you is if someone starts pissing on you like a human toilet you should shoot them in the face

if you've had ear infection for 1 year you're probably deaf. an no urine does not cure ear infections. unrine is not considered and antibiotic if it were you wouldn't get bladder infections. i assume this was a bullshit question.

Depends on the cause. If the cause of the infection is mycological (fungus) then urine, which contains heavy but safe amounts of ammonia, is a good cure. If the cause is bacterial, then alcohol is actually a better cure, using an eye dropper loaded with Bacardi 151 or another clear but hard core alcohol (such as >100 proof vodka) will work wonders. Just be sure to let it run back out eventually, each treatment will break up the infection just a bit and a few minutes later you will feel a warm and nasty feeling of something trickling out your ear. Leaving it in there to dry is bad, because the sugars in the alcohol eventually actually feed the bacteria.

DONT, urine contain bacteria and will make it worse!

yeah whoever told you that piss will cure an ear infection must be wicked retarded.

Ear infections can indeed be quite crazy. The dizziness makes you kind of feel like you're drunk. you do not, however, have as much fun.

i dont't think i'd try that but i heard it cures foot fungi

You know what? it's an old way of getting rid of an ear ache and I have heard that it works. But if u had an ear ache for a year u may need a doctors help.

no, urine is acid and eats away at things but not that and maybe your tube in the back of your mouth is to small and needs to be expanded go see a nose and throat and ear specialist

I read on line that years ago, mother's used to give their children Cod Liver Oil and that it prevented ear infections. The best one is Norwegian Cod Liver Oil. You can buy it at your supermarket probably near the seafood department. It doesn't taste very good, but it has vitamins A,D, and E and is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.

actually clean urine can and will clear an ear infection! something in the urine. its an old wives cure! try it! if you have had it this long nothing is gonna make it worse and go see a doc- sweet oil and cotton works well too!

I have heard it works, people I know swear by it. But they used it early in the problem. I used "sweet oil" to keep the ear drum soft til I could get an appointment; but I rarely have ear infections. But I can tell you this...You need to see a ear, nose, and throat specialist if you've had this infection this long. They are right you can lose your hearing from ear infections. Because it has gone so long they may need to insert tubes in your ear drum to drain the infection out. Be aware that they can come out before the infection is cleared and may need to be reinserted, but don't lose your hearing.Check WebMD.com and similar sites and I think you'll find that they will give the same info. ...Go see a doctor. Do not put it off any longer. If you fine that your hearing has been damaged...go to your nearest deafness center and check out their sign language videos. You may need to go to one of their schools to learn to read lips especially if your ears are really badly damaged. I wish you well and will pray for you concerning this.

NO.Get the cause of the infection(bacterial, fungal, etc.) from a laboratory.Once done get the sensitivity test done. Many labs do the sensitivity test to the causing infection for antibiotics, etc.
Then u can start course of treatment which may take sometime to clear with a periodical check for sensitivity.

nO.Better see an Oto-Larygiologist

try warm oil
