Can using headphones for hours cause ear infections? |
I have very sensitive ears (chronic ear infections for the past 4 years, but these past few months my ears have been ok), and I work at drive-thru now. Since I have started work, my ear infections are coming back. Now that I work at drive-thru I end up doing up to 8 hours straight of loud beeping and buzzing in my ear. Could this cause ear infections? Sound won't cause an infection but perhaps the headphone is trapping moisture and causing a bacterial infection (like swimmers ear)... talk to your doc... see if they'd be willing to prescribe ear drops. Well it causes ear damage. So youre a music student, if i were you, i would just quit that job and find something that wouldn't hurt your ears more. yes because the drm thing vibrates to much and it becsue sore YES. And using a speaker phone on your cell to your ear tends to cause such problems. Don't stick anything in your ear smaller then your elbo and use soap and warm water to wash 'em out so wax doesn't build up. use over ear headphones in ear head phones cause bacteria to populate |
