My son and his ear infections? |
My son had surgury on his ears because he was having cronic ear infections since he was five months old so the dr's put tubes in his ear. The dr's told me that he would not have any more ear infection but now he got double ear infections with a lot of junk coming out of it and none of the dr's can tell me how to attend to him and what I can do about it. I need some advice please help me out here someone Thank you you may want to take your son to a hospital to see lf they can do anything get a diferent doctor when i was 3 my eardrum blew i still cant here out of one ear the day before i was at the doctor he said nothing wrong well he was wrong now i am paying for it get a diferent doctor that knows what to do find a woman they care i am not racist theyn just are beter at asking other doctors if they dont know It could be the shape of his ear that is causing him to be prone to ear infections. As he grows the shape shoud change. There is no reason you can't go to another doctor, that's crazy if they aren't doing anythign to correct the problem because you don't want to give him anti biotics if it happens all the time because they will eventually stop working and then he's in big trouble. Shannon I am really sorry to hear that about your son, I suffered from chronic ear infections for years until a doctor in Vancouver prescribed a cream called Viaderm.K.C. This medication was not developed for ear infections but is a combination of meds that work perfectly for that purpose and my very clever doctor figured this out.I had been using every sort of drops for years and was considering surgery because nothing worked then. The first application of this cream cleared up my problem forever ..I never looked back The purpose of the tubes is to drain any fluid that builds up behind the eardrum. So that means they are working. The tubes do not necessarily prevent ear infections though they should be less common, should an infection occur it drains out of the ears through the tubes rather than building up pressure in the ear having to go on antibiotics etc. |
