Always getting sinus infections and ear infections.....? |
ive had my adnoids out 2 years ago and tubes in at the same time. Hoping that would help. I have had several ear infections however and sinus too. I have a eustation (SP) tube disfunction, any suggestions. Hate to keep going to the doctor for all of this. I would do a serious clean of the indoor environment at home. Mold and mildew can irritate the sinuses and cause repeated infections. Because of the way the nasal passages and ears are connected, an infection in the sinus often causes blockage of the eustachian tubes, and from there the inner ear infections. If you have wall to wall carpeting, check the carpet in front of the entry doors to be sure you don't have mold underneath. I had repeated bouts of sinus infections until we had to replace our front door and frame due to wood rot. When we pulled it out and the carpet back, we discovered the flooring in front of it had rotten from water leaking under the frame, and it was mold central. Once we had the repairs finished, and the carpet replaced with regular flooring- guess what? My sinus problems vanished. So I would recommend an agressive decontamination cleaning of carpets, furniture, pillows, drapes, etc- with an eye to eliminating all mold and mildew, and the spores. Change the filter on the furnace, and invest in a HEPA type filter for it. If you make sure you don't have any aspartame in your diet, it will help you avoid regular health problems. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener. Coke puts it in everything they put out, even the regular drinks. It would seem to me that the best way to prevent problems would be to prevent congestion and swelling of the sinuses and eustachian tubes. This could be accomplished with a regimen of decongestants and allergy control medication. I had numerous sinus infections which (in my case) tended to lead to bronchitis until I started using Flonase about 10 years ago; it has dramatically decreased the frequency of the infections I get, and I haven't had bronchitis since 1999! Flonase (generic is fluticasone) is available by prescription; I urge you to ask him/her about it. YES YES I CAN HELP . PLEASE TRY A CANDIDA CLENSE LOOK IT UP TO BE MORE INFORMED BUT IT WILL HELP TO STOP THE SINUS AND EAR NOSE THROAT INFECTIONS YOU CAN BUY IT IN A HELTH FOOD STORE . PLEASE TRY IT , IT WILL HELP YOU =] |
