What am I doing wrong to be getting ear infections all the time?

For years it seems I have been getting ear infections and according to family I got them alot when I was younger too (baby and toddler years). I do swim but not underwater, atleast not recently and now my ear feels swollen, I can't hear that well out of that ear, it's itchy and hurts alot, which is saying something, I have a high pain tolerance. The ENT I go to gave me boric acid to use and made it seem like he wanted me to use it forever but it burned serverly, to the point I was in tears, so after a while I had to stop. That was several months ago. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

It may not be something you are doing, some people are just more susceptible to ear infections

When you get a cold or have allergies do you sniff alot? That can cause fluid to move from your nose into your ears and you can get ear infections. Try to blow your nose alot more. Also I have heard of people having to get tubes in their ears...I am not sure why they need them but this reason sounds plausible.

Sounds like your immune system not functioning at its best the best way to remedy this without drugs is to give your body the nutrients it needs I have found that a great source of these nutrients is a vitalty pack sold by GNLD in fact it worked so well for me that I decided to become a distributor . you can order the vitality pack which has a money back guarantee from my website at achievebalance.gnld.net also check out the link below for more info.

yeah its an infections.maybe you did somthing wrong when you're in your younger years.Have you tried cleaning your ears using your hand?match or anything that may cause irritation then it end up to ear infections. If you do then that's very possible..Please be very extra careful now especially in cleaning your sensitive ears..Pray to God also for healing!..If you believe that He's able to heal your infirmity then you 'll be healed.Your Faith is important here.

You are entitled to a second opinion. Have someone new look at you. Maybe there is something that the other one missed. By the way, if you take milk or dairy products that in itself increases the flow of mucus in your body, or maybe you are in the habit of drinking liquids and lying down immediately after, or taking liquids while lying down. Check to see how much earwax collects in your ears, it might be a problem with trapped humidity.

well..i cant help you. but i em experience the same thing although mine is not that severe.
now, my ears get easily itchy...but its not dirty..i began to suffer it since i use an ear drop without doctor's recipe. since then my ears get very sensitive and i stop using it....did you make the same mistake as i did?
