Ear infections? i cant hear well out of my ears!!?

all summer i have noticed i cant hear too well, sort of like when i have alergies and my ears close up. but i dont have alergies!

it isn't ear wax, i used a q-tip but it felt like an infection when i put it in my ear. it has been like this all summer!

i'm 14 and i don't listen to loud music, i put some ear medicne in it, but it hasn't helped. i noticed it at the begining of the sumer and i have been checking on it, but it still hurts to put a q-tip in m ear.

what is it?

GO TO A DOCTER!

go to an ear and throat specialist

Most kids your age don't hear anything anyway, but if they hurt you might want to see a doctor. Have you told your parents?

You may have impacted wax back in your ear close to the ear drum. That can make hearing difficult. There are products at the pharmacy that will loosen the wax and make it easy to flush out. Ask your pharmacist! P.S.

Never put a Q Tip (or any small object in to your ears) because if you really do have ear wax you could end up pushing it further in to your ear. As for the pain...I would tell your parents about this and have them make an appointment for you with your doctor or an ear, nose and throat specialist. The doctor can look in your ears and recommend treatment. Good luck.

do you go swimming alot cus that happens to my ears after im in water and it could last all day

If you use a q-tip, you might be pushing the wax INTO your ear (near the ear drum like someone else said)

You should probably go see a doctor - just in case this isn't it ...

Best of luck!

I use equal amounts of olive oil and oil from crushed cloves of garlic.Put 7-10 drops in the ear,and use a cotton wad for a plug.Garlic is a great anti bacterial.I know your thinking about the smell from the garlic, which is why some people use only the olive oil.Olive oil is only a mild anti-bacterial compared to garlic. If this doesn't help, you might want to see your family doctor.Never stick anything in your ear.You could rupture your eardrum.

do you swim alot .....if so it may cause by it, water can get in your ears while swimming. but does your ears pain you. it might be a infection..if so you need to see the doctor , because you would need some antibiotics

My ears hurt when I get water in them sometimes, but if you don't swim, you really should see a dr. it could be an infection.
