I have inner ear pain all the time, what could be the problem?

I have been to the ENT, a regular doctor and neurologist and all them say they cant find a thing wrong. My dentist thinks it could be TMJ but he really dont know. Ive had xrays done and no tumors. A friend who is a nurse thinks I have a rare inner ear disorder but cant find a doctor who will say the same thing. Can anybody help?

Sounds like you have already gone the doctor route...Maybe a
allergist could help...it does sound like TMJ, I have this and my ear always hurts....several years ago I had another attack of this,
and my Rheumatoligist gave me a shot of cortisone in the jaw,
It worked...I'm afraid you have alittle more research to do....
Good luck and God best a fellow sufferer..

ask the friend who said this for help. ask her who to talk to and where to go.

I've had friends who have had this, and their doctors say it's allergies. Maybe go to an allergist. A chiropractor can help to, believe it or not.

I know that you may think that this is "Far Out", but apparently you are not getting the help you need.

I would advise you to see a "Chiropractor" It is unfortunate, but the only doctors who deal with Nerves are Chiropractors. If you have a Nerve in your neck that is being pinched by an out of place Vertebrae, you could develop a number of symptoms.

Sometimes you could feel like you have something in your eye. You could also think you have a Toothache, or one of your Nostrils may feel irritated.

An adjustment of your Spine and Neck, could just solve your problem. Medical Doctors just don't seem to understand Nerves and what they can do.

It is not very expensive and you may be glad that you had the examination.

Good Luck to You.

I'm not sure whats wrong but when I have ear aches I cut an onion in half and put it in the microwave for a few secs. wrap it up in a cloth and hold it against your ear. It will relieve the pain.
good luck
