Obessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) I think I am addicted to cleaning my ears with Q-tips :/?

I get up in the morning, and I can't wait to grab a Q-tip to jab it in my ear and start twisting. Actually everytime I go to the bathroom, Im sitting there on the pooper... CLEANING my ears.

I have some at work in my desk... just in case I see someone in the cafe line ahead of me with glistening ear wax, frightened by this I bolt up stairs and start jabbing my ear with a Q-tip.

There is never anything on the Q-tip even :(

Could this be an addiction or some type of OCD thing?

Am I addicted to "crack tips" ?? Does anyone else do this?

Just recently I've been hearing what sounds like water in my ear, but, I have not been swimming since summer. Its not painful, but just annoying as hell to hear everytime I hear something...including my own chewing noises.

It does seem pretty OCD to me. You should stop the habit because Q-tips just shove more cerumen inside of your ear instead of eliminating it. If you shove the Q-tip too far inside you could rupture your typanus and lose your hearing, maybe forever.

Consider visiting a psyquiatrist if quitting the stuff causes a lot of anxiety.

If think you have it your probably don't its more of mental thing.Your body feels accustomed to it meaning you probably change your daily routine one morning and used a Q tip and now your body thinks of it as a natural thing.
