Tmj progression ?

ive had a popping right jaw for i think tow years already without pain, but now i seem to be getting tension headaches, stuffy ears, stiffneck n shoulders, dizziness. is my tmj progressing into a full blown disorder ?

Tmj is when your jaw is out of place slightly
this happens from swelling in the joint or muscles around the joint most of the time it happens becaue of clentching of the jaw or grinding of the teeth in ones sleep

you have had a full blown case the whole time
even though it did not cause you pain the popping is your jaw snapping into place every time you open your mouth so you actually have a bad case of it.

there are a couple of things you can do
take advil for the pain it is an anti inflamitory and will help with the pain
you can also try ice

if you grind your teeth at night you will need to get a night gard to prevent this from coming back
and waring it during the day will help get you out of the flare up
You can get custom made ones from most dentist they will take a mold of your mouth they cost several 100 $$'s

if you can not afford to go at the pharamacy they now sell ones that you can mold yourself you just have to get one that will fit your jaw and then follow the instructions on how to mold it they come in sm med and large

for imedent releaf you can go to the chiroprator call them first and ask if they have had experence treating this.

The first time I got this I was just like you and every time I ate you could here the popping across the room and now it does not get that bad. You can ware out the joint by letting it pop.
I got the mouth gard done and it took six months for me to feel better
the third time I got this I went to the chiroprator and after two treatments I was better.

if you are the type of person who grinds your teeth or you clench your jaw when under stress you really need to have a gard or it will keep coming back.

go see your regular doctor. could be something worse than tmj...better be safe than sorry i say. you only have one body and one chance at this lifetime. take care of your health!
