Does Vestibular Rehabilitation work?

I took a ECG last week and my doc says I have a pherprial vestibular disorder. Which, I guess, means I really am getting dizzy but he doesn't have any clue why except that it is because of my ears.

So he wants me to do vestibular rehabilitation. Does this really work? It seems pretty ridiculous. Right now, I am not letting my vertigo or lightheadedness affect my activities, so how is wiggling my head around going to make me less dizzy? Seems pretty unlikely. Is it worth the time or effort to try, sense it won't cure me. Sounds to me like I just have to get used to feeling like this from now on.

it does usually work quite well
