CRAZY Sleeping Pill Side effect?

I took a sleeping pill early last week and started experiencing really strange feelings, that the website says are weird side effects, on Saturday at four in the morning. These feelings have continued, and are still happening today. They include:

Dizziness, fast heartbeat, hallucinations, trouble in sleeping, abnormal sensation in movements, appetite disorder, "pins and needles" feeling, change in hearing, chest discomfort, confusion about identity, ringing in ears, daytime drowsiness, difficulty swallowing, discouragement, drugged feelings, dryness of mouth, false sense of well-being, FEAR, feeling of unreality, feeling sad or empty, general feeling of discomfort, loss of interest or pleasure, mood swings, nervousness, sense of detachment from self or body, trouble concentrating.

I just wanted to know if this really is the sleeping pill, or something else, becuase I've never heard of a pill doing this, and I'm only experiencing the really CRAZY symptoms.

Thanks for the help!

I'm planning on seeing a doctor today...and the side effects are all listed on the website for the sleeping pill.

But it just seems weird to me that I'm only experiencing the really weird, rare side effects. Could it be something else, or is it definitely the pill?

honey, believe me some medications do crazy things to ya. I was taking this one and I started having the worst nightmares I have ever had, and I could not figure it out until i stopped taking the medication, It was so bad i was afraid to go to sleep. Be sure and tell your doc. about the symptoms you are having. NO matter how crazy it sounds, it very well could be a side effect of the medication.

Which pill are you taking? If this is a prescription medication, you need to mention this to your doctor immediately. It's possible that it could be regular side effects, but it could be unreported side effects so you need to mention this to your doctor immediately.

The pill could probably do that , but it is strange that they are still happening. If it keeps on - get to a doctor!

Bring this to notice of your parents and go to a doctor as soon as possible. Make sure you take the details of the pill or if possible the strip/bottle from which the pill was taken to the doctor. You do not want any spurious pill to harm you and you do not want any stupid side effects ...

If it's been a week since you took a single pill and these symptoms are ongoing - chances are extraordinarily slim that the symptoms you listed are a continued result of taking the sleeping pill.

Ambien, btw, is notorious for these sorts of weird side effects.
