I need to desperatly know if this a past infection or a present infection.

EBV NUCLEAR AG [EBNA] [IGG]-->5.00
EBV- BARR VCA IGM AB -----------<0.91
EBV- VCA IGG AB -------------------->5.00

INDEX CHART IS

<OR = O.90-----NEGATIVE

0.91--1.09 -----EQUIVOCAL

>OR = 1.10 ----POSITIVE

IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME THE RESULTS I WOULD BE SOOOO HAPPY.

Hmmm...Immunology results....looks like you are being tested for Epstein Barr Virus....
Basically, there is Antigen and Antibody. Antigen as a general rule Antigen tends to indicate active infection, whereas Antibody is past infection; the calling card if you will of past infection. IgG and IgM are the antibodies, Antigen is deliniated as AG. You definitely have something going on, however, you will need your doctor to interpret the lab findings and correlate to the physical exam.

Why don't you just ask your doctor?

you are positive

YES, BECAUSE THE INTERNET HAS A PHD IN EVERYTHING AND KNOWS ABOUT YOU AND YOUR GENERAL STATE OF HEALTH MORESO THAN YOUR DOCTOR. Christ.

here is a link on that.

IgG is positive. This indicates past infection. If this was a present infection, IgM would have been positive.
