Does anyone have info on recurrent Epstein Barr infection?

I had some blood work done 6 months ago and my EBV titer was in the 500's (normal 0-99). The blood work was repeated 2 weeks ago and it was nearly 2000! The only symptoms I have had are extreme fatigue and aches (especially neck area). This was ordered by my rheumatologist (newly diagnosed with arthritis). Is there a connection between the arthritis and EBV?

I have often wondered about the connection between rheumatoid arthritis and EBV. My mother's first attacks of rheumatoid arthritis were accompanied by very high EBV levels in her blood, of course with extreme fatigue and all of that good stuff. So I suppose I don't really have an answer for you, but I wanted you to know that you're not the only person whose arthritis seems somehow connected to EBV.
