Appendicitis,Kidney Stone ,UTI, Kidney Infection or E-Coli?

Right side and around to the lower back is hurting for sometime now.

I first noticed the pain after eating reduced fat peter pan p-nut butter in Feb.again 2 weeks ago after eating reduced fat Jiff p-nut butter.Last night I ate a handful of fresh roasted peanuts.

Boy, those are specific symptoms.

In short, if you're worried, see your doctor.

All I can tell you is that when I had appendicitis my entire right side hurt enough to make me assume the fetal position in my bra and underwear on the living room floor. I was hot and very miserable.

Call your doctor and see if you should go in. If it is any of those things, you'll want to get it fixed.

Least likely to be appendicitis. Can be all ,one,or more of the others.
An abdominal u/s scan, urine culture will be decisive.

Sounds like a kidney stone to me. I've had iots of them.

Right Lower Quadrant contains the appendix.. one scenario is appendicitis, and always a concern, because it could kill you if not addressed. There's Not enough into to answer your question though....should see a MD. Depends on a full assessment.... Where did the pain start?...in front and move to the back, or reverse? How long have you had it? Did you have any injuries? Is it hot to the touch? or red? swollen? Does it make it worse to push on it, or better? Are you having trouble urinating? Blood in urine? Fever? Your age is also a factor. Any Nausea or Vomiting? .....Don't let it get worse. See your doctor ASAP.

Usually kidney stones and kidney infections affect the flank area which is the sides leading to your back but if you divide your trunk (entire chest) into 3 sections upper, middle and lower kidney issues are generally felt in the middle. Lower is usually appenditis or could even be diverticulitis. It also depends on the type of pain as well. Whatever it my be I wouldn't wait to long. Often times its nothing, sometimes it something that needs to be address early to prevent further complications. I'd get to you Doctor or the ER ASAP.
