I drank from the same glass as my friend who has an e-coli infection. Will I get it? Not unless your friend didnt wash his hands(after from going to the bathroom) prior to drinking from that glass. E.coli is spread by the fecal-oral route. This means if the glass or water has some "poop"/feces/stool on it, you may be able to get E.coli. That is scary, and you just might,..I hope not...get some antibiotics NOW and tell your doctor, to prevent anything from happening...that is what I would do.. Better to consult your doctor asap. |
