Urine infection doesnt go away!!!?

Hello Im a 21 year old female and I have had a Uti for several years. I started treating it like A year ago but nothing. I knew at first that there was something wrong with my urine because it was cloudy and it smelled really bad ( and I drink a lot of water).. The urine cultives show that I have E coli in my urine and she has put me on antibiotics and two weeks or less after I finish them it comes back. This time she put me on antibiotics for a month and the same thing happened. Im using nitrofurantoin (generin for macrobid).. I'm starting to get a little bit stressed out about this.. If anyone had the same thing happen or can help me out I will appreciate it.

Start drinking lots of cranberry juice. I never drink water. You may also get cranberry pills. Ive also heard beer cleans your kidneys.

drink lots of cranberry juice. I know that this sounds like a stupid answer, but it did miricals for me. there were times when I could not leave the house because I had no control. it was so bad. It may take some time but give it a try everyday. I am not here for the points just to help anyone i can. Really truely it will help if anything can and it won't hurt you.

Shelly T is right. Cranberry juice worked for me when nothing else would. Drink as much as you can stand. But I just wanted to add that you should be sure to get the 100% juice with no sugar or corn syrup added. If not, the added sugar will just feed the infection. Don't get the one that says juice cocktail.Try to eliminate all sugar and caffeine from your diet until it goes away. hope this helps, because I know how miserable you must be feeling.
