My doctor said that my heart, lungs are normal and ok.. but why is it i have this labored breathing? Dyspnea? Dyspnea is painful breathing, so, you have labored and painful breathing? Did he rule out asthma? Another possibility is that you may have a cold. Sometimes colds settle down in your chest and make you miserable. There really isn't much you can do medicine wise, but, you could take a hot bath, or turn on a humidifier, in your house. Are you anemic? Maybe your red blood cells are inadequate. Ask for lab work. Some Dr's are not good listeners. Insist on further testing. If you notice the dyspnea even at rest, definately follow up or switch doctors. id say asthma. Please see the webpages for more details on Breathing difficulty (Dyspnea). |
