Medscape.com says there has been much learned about functional dyspepsia in recent years, but they still don't know how to cure it, and it is treated empirically - which means the doctor treats it by his experience - what he has found to be helpful in the past. The article does say the role of hypnotherapy should be further explored. Possibly hypnosis could convince your body to be better behaved? They say it is effective for other things, could be worth a try? My best wishes to you in finding a better control.

Bloody diarrhea would indicate a break in the lining of the colon, which should looked at. It could be as serious as cancer, or just an ulcer (a sore) in the colon, but an endoscopy would reveal where the blood is coming from and how to treat it. Losing blood could be the cause of the weakness due to losing the iron your system needs to carry oxygen to the tissues.
