ive just been told that a test for helicobacter antibodies was positive which could mean stomach ulcer or dyspepsia disease, are these serious and how are they treated, im scared. Is it ok to work still i assume Helicobacter pylori eradication protocols is a standard name for all treatment protocols for peptic ulcers and gastritis, which primary goal is not only temporary relief of symptoms, but total elimination of Helicobacter pylori infection.
Side effects can vary, but not treading the illness can be more serious.
I would say that you need to speak with your doctor in more detail and keep asking questions until he or she explains it to your satisfaction.
Too often we just accept what our doctors tell us instead of asking questions and we walk away frightened because we really don't understand what we are being told.
If you have one of those doctors that resents answering questions (I've had that experience in the past) you should get another doctor.
Try not to be afraid though until you can get some QUALIFIED feedback on what you are dealing with. Stress makes just makes anything worse. |
