I have dysmenorrhea, what can help it? |
My mom said I'll grow out of it, but until then, is there anything I can do to help the cramps/pain/nausea? I started to get it when I was 13 I'm still 13 when will I grow out of it? Fish oil! But you also definitely need to see an endocrinologist for some other prescriptions. Have u been to the Doc for this, he could tell u more, go to www.webmd.com You may grow out of it, but the only thing that worked for me was birth control. If your mom won't put you on the pill, try midol or pamprin. However, if those don't work, you really should see a doctor about stronger medicine or the pill. You should see a gynecologist; if not your family physician may be able to help you through this period. There really is no reason why you should suffer . Get some help. You may grow out of it but some of us still suffer as women. There are over the counter medications you can take.Ask at the chemist. If it continues to be bad ask your mum to take to you to a doctor. If you have primary dysmenorrhea than heres some treatment (copied from wikipedia): |
