Irregular periods and weight gain? |
Last month I had cramps that hurt so much, I couldn't stand up. My flow was unusually heavy but it only lasted 3 days (I usually have it for 6 says). My roommate's mom, a nurse, said it was dysmenorrhea. I missed my period this month and I noticeably gained weight. I've been eating less than I normally would both because of the weight gain and because I lost my appetite for food. Fibroids, cysts, or a hormonal imbalance can all cause this. You need not run t the GYN unless it happens again with the next cycle because sometimes your hormones and cycle just change due to stress or even a change in the climate. It is consistent problems that need to be investigated. hmm, unusual combination of symptoms, the weight gain is probably water, but you should go to the doctor and get some bloodwork done to check your blood count and kidney functions |
