UTI? Help!? |
Ok, so I am due to start my period in about a week, and I always get this really painful sensation in my uterus because I have dysmenorrhea (really painful menstrual cycle) but this time it hurts A LOT worse and it's gotten gradually worse these past few months. I'm a virgin but my boyfriend and I have fooled around before. Tonight it hurts laying down, standing, and sitting, especially sitting, and it hurts to twist my body at all and both my lower back and my uterus hurts really badly. I have had to pee a lot but I pee pretty frequently anyways; just tonight it seems like I peed 3 times in one hour and still felt like I had to go. There has been no blood or smells but could it be a UTI? Again, I'm a virgin so there's no way I'm pregnant, but I am really scared of doctors so I don't want to go unless it's absolutely necessary and I hate taking medicine so I really don't want to go on birth control to regulate the cramps. Any suggestions/thoughts? Ive had UTIs millions of times and while the frequent urination part sounds like a UTI, all the pain symptoms do not. I would have to say you either have a super severe UTI along with your dysmenorrhea or a complication of a UTI and another problem. Either way, you should see a doctor to figure it out. Don't leave it without seeing a dcotor. A woman's uterus and reproductive system is prone to so many problems some of which are extremely serious. Always check it out with a doctor. You need to go get this checked out. You could very well have a UTI and if you don't get it treated it could spread to your kidneys or blood stream. Go to urgetn care and get this checked out now before it gets worse. when you start getting UTI it should only burn after you urinate or during and you should have an urge to do this often. when this is the case you want to satisfy those urges and drink lots of water. also cranberry juice makes your urine more acidic which will kill the germs and should help get rid of it. however if it is a really bad case you have to go to the doctor because it could really screw you up. I think that if you have it it is a real bad case... go to the doctor. |
