Unusual Dyslexia? |
Hi okay, I was diagnosed with Dyslexia when I was Five & I had a very hard time Reading on till about the age of Eight or Nine, then I just started excelling in it. I am an extremely fast reader, fastest in my Grade 9 class actually. & I can correspond everything I read perfectly, but when you hear Dyslexia the first symptom they ALWAYS say is, "Has Difficultly Reading" . & yet I am Virtually perfect at it? I have an extremely hard time in Math, & I do have signs of Dyslexia like from Time to Time I put "b" for "d" & I had to Google spelling attempts for "Signs" four times before I got it. & I do things like "Here" for "Hear". My mom is a very fast reader as well, so maybe thats why I'm so good despite my Dyslexia? I don't know I'm really confused, NOTHING on Dyslexia sites says anything about it with out centering around the reading point. Do I have a very Unusual case, or despite my signs of Dyslexia do I have something else? Can anyone help please. I cant really answer your question, being that im no doctor, but ill surely tell you this. |
