Dyslexia what should i do?

I Have dyslexia bad and all my friends think i am just stupid because the don't understand it what should i do

I am dyslexic, get some help from a professional. You are not stupid man, you brain doesn鈥檛 work the same way as other kids. I know, I am 13, and while other kids roll in mud, I like to study politics, economies, and mostly, the Soviet Union. And I thank it all to my Dyslexia. I also went to my teachers, who then helped me with it so I could function in class. Dont think of your self as different as I do not. I think of my self as me, not Dyslexic. See you resource teacher and have him/her help. I have gone from the school yard bully at 7 to a 3 out of 4 honer roll student. Work hhard and dont quit!

And to the jerk who said go to taco bell, you can rot with the devil.
(Sorry but I have to say that)

Go to Taco bell

Use spell check?

Dyslexics of the world! UNTIE!!

go get help, either that or get a gym membership and get big and when they make fun of you, you can just kick there as$es!

You need to see a specialist that can help you with building skills to overcome your dyslexia. You're not stupid, your brain is processing information differently. You may discover that you have understandings of things that others do not.

Print out some info on it, then share it with them.

How old are you? So many middle school and high school students are just looking for a reason to be mean. Or, maybe they are just misinformed. Are you getting help? Maybe you could ask one of your resource teachers to give you an idea of how to explain it to your friends so that they understand that is it a disorder. I have had a similar experience. I suffer from depressive disorder. I had a REALLY hard time explaining to my family that it is the DISORDER that I have, and that they have not done anything to cause me to be depressed. Sometimes people just need information.

Dyslexia is NOT a mental disorder. Its a medical problem that can be overcome with the proper treatment. Don't let anyone tell you, you are stupid 'cause you aren't. Tom Cruise had dyslexia growing up and look what he has done with his life. Contact your county health department for referrals or if you are still in school ask to see your school counselor. They can start you learning to overcome it.
