Do I have dyslexia? |
I am unsure if i have dyslexia. I'm 18 and I have never been tested for it, but for as long as I can remember I have written letters backwards including: b, d, p, q, u, n. Sometimes I type them backwards as well. I haven't really ever asked anyone about it either. Dyslexia is about much more than writing letters backwards. The more pertinent question is whether you have problems understanding written language in general. How are you at writing and reading? Do you have any other spoken or written language problems? My suggestion is if it's not adversely affective your life or education don't worry about it. If you think it's indicative of bigger problems you should see a professional.
